A-Z Autobiograph

Journal

10-12-06

Over the weekend, I went to the Apple Festival. I also went to Burt’s Farm to buy some pumpkins. I went to this farm when I was a little kid and climbed all over the huge pumpkins. When I was recently at the pumpkin farm we needed my dad to help carry the pumpkins we had bought. He wasn’t with us though because he was camping somewhere near Elijay. When I was in second grade we went camping with another family. It rained the last night we were there and the ground was so wet that water got inside our tents. At my old elementary school there used to be hay rides in the fall. I remember these hay rides because the wagon would drive by the swing I used to jump off of. One of my favorite foods is kettle corn. I used to eat a lot of kettle corn long before I got braces. I first got braces in 3rd grade because I had a messed up gap in my teeth. My brother and I loved to be in nature when I was in elementary school. My family used to go to St. George Island every summer to see the ocean. We also used to go the mountains and I would try to paint the pretty views. When I used to live in my old house I had a purple and pink sipping cup that I would quaff out of. In the backyard of my old house is where I buried my old rabbit. My rabbit’s name was Clifford because on his side were two big red spots. Clifford the Big Red Dog used to be my favorite TV show. I always thought that Clifford was a Labrador, just like my old dog. As a little girl I would sit or lie underneath my dog and take naps. I wish I knew how to play the violin. Betsy, my best friend, who went to Winnona, knew how to the violin. In music class at Winnona we played the xylophone. When my older brother was in kindergarten he was a young model for Lands End. He modeled a pair of green overalls with a zebra or train turtleneck shirt.
